The Wedding will be held at Lake O' The Woods Plantation on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4pm on the front lawn, to be accompanied by live music from the Raleigh Woodwind Quartet. Upon completion of the ceremony, you will be guided from the front lawn into the Manor Home for cocktails as we prepare for the Reception. The Reception will take place on the pool terrace at approximately 5pm.
The Reception dinner will be served buffet style, including the following menu choices:
Appetizers:
Mini Tomato Bruschetta
Mexican Cream Cheese Dip with Corn Chips
Salad:
Spring Mix with Walnuts and Feta
Entrees:
Herb Roasted Chicken
Seared Beef Tenderloins
Sides:
Roasted Garden Vegetables
Garlic Roasted Mash Potatoes with Gravy
Dessert:
Wedding Cake will be Served
Following the dinner will be dancing, dancing, and more dancing (as per Laura's instructions)! We will have a DJ on site until about 10 or 11pm, at which point the Reception will come to a close and the magical night will be over!
We respectfully ask that no children be brought to the wedding. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you!
Please make sure that someone in your party is a designated driver and comfortable with the directions, as the ride back to Henderson will be very dark. The same person should probably drive both to and from Lake O' The Woods so that they are familiar with the trip. If for any reason you find yourself without a designated driver, contact someone in the bridal party so that we can make arrangements for you - please do not take any chances as driving is difficult enough in this area!
